Returns & Right of Withdrawal

Every piece is made to order - printed once, for you, when you place it. We make nothing we don't intend. But made to order does not mean you lose your rights, and we'd rather be straight with you than clever.

Your 14-day right of withdrawal

If you are in the EU, you may withdraw from your purchase within 14 days of receiving it, without giving a reason. To do so, tell us clearly before the 14 days are up - email info@thwrd.com or use our withdrawal form.

How returns work

Send the item back within 14 days of telling us you are withdrawing, to: The Word / Plastiik v/Thomas Finn Larsen, Mathildevej 24, 4. th., 2000 Frederiksberg, Denmark.

You cover the cost of return shipping. We are a print-on-demand house with no storefront, so we cannot collect - but the right is yours and we honour it.

Handle the item as you would in a shop. You may try it on. If it comes back worn, washed, scented, with tags removed or the print damaged, we may deduct from your refund for the loss in value.

Your refund

Once we receive the item back - or proof that you have sent it - we refund you within 14 days, to your original payment method, including the standard outbound shipping you paid. We may hold the refund until the item, or proof of return, reaches us.

What we cannot take back

Truly personalised pieces - anything carrying your own text, name or image, made for you alone - cannot be returned, as they cannot be resold. Standard designs from our catalogue, in standard sizes, are always covered by the right of withdrawal above.

If something is wrong with your order

Faulty, flawed or not what you ordered? That is on us. Write to info@thwrd.com and we will replace it or make it right. This stands on top of your statutory rights, including your two-year right to complain over faulty goods, and never replaces them.
